Skoda

Škoda Auto also known as Skoda, is an automobile manufacturer based in the Czech Republic, Škoda became a subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group in 1991. It was founded Laurin Vaclav and Klement Vaclav in 1895 by the name of Laurin & Klement. Its headquarters of today and its foundation place are in Mlada Boleslav, Czech republic. Skoda started as a simple bicycle manufactorer,because when Laurin couldnt find the parts needed to repair his bicycle and complained to the sellers they wrote him of and he started his own bicycle factory. To expand his business he and his partner invented the first motorcycle in the world. Then they started car manufactoring and were engaged in producing war machines in WW1 and WW2. Then in 1990 after the Velvet revolution the firm was privatised and given over to be bought by the Volkswagen franchise and has been growing in popularity ever since. My cousin drives the Skoda Octavia and my grandfather the skoda Felicia. Skoda is very good since it produces good quality cars very cheaply and could be one of the biggest car manufactorers in the world if not limited by Volkswagen. I like Skoda because it has a very good story similiar to that of Lamborghini.
