Ferrari

Ferrari more correctly known as Ferrari S.p.A., is an italian car manufactorer. It was founded in the year 1929 by Enzo Ferrari, under the name Scuderia Ferrari, which means "Ferrari Stable". Its current headquarters are located in Maranello, Italy, it was moved from Modena after WW2 due to safety reasons, but was still bombed by the allies in 1944 and rebuilt in 1946.

At the time of its founding it was never meant to be a mass producer of vehicles for the common public but much rather a racing team. From 1929 until 1947, Ferrari was soleley a racing company that very frequently competed with Alfa Romeo cars. Enzo competed with Alfa Romeo so frequently that they offered him the head position of the motor racing department in 1938. Unfortunately in 1941 Mussolini confiscated Scuderia Ferrari, and forced them to build machines, and aeroplane motors under the brand name "Auto Avio Costruzioni Ferrari".

In 19 the first car was built but it cant really be considered the first car since it was a scarce model that never entered mass production, people always talk about the 125S being the first car that Ferrari created in 1947. Enzo Ferrari died in 1988, a few months after the F40 was launched.

Ferrari has been very succesfull in nearly all major races especially Formula 1, with the legend Michael Schumacher. Ferrari was allways first at the Daytona Race, except for the only day when Ferrari came second.

I like Ferarri cars but they are overrated and overpriced for their quality in work. I see them as competition from a real rival of Volkswagen and its subsidiaries. Compared to other cars of the same class like Lamborghini or Porsche, the Ferarri is slower and not as good, with low client help. I still like Ferrari though and its my favorite italian car manufactorer. I would be much gladder if Volkswagen owned Ferrari because with positive profit that it makes its still a good figure to have, as some people will have diseases. I especially like Ferrari in Formula 1, and i hope it will all end up well for schumacher.
